TRAINING FOR THE SPECIAL INTERVENTION BRIGADE

At the request of the special police intervention brigade, EUTM and EUCAP provided specific training on basic military topics. Thus, police trainees studied and put into practice movements and intervention tactics in an urban environment, but were also made aware of the threat against IEDs, basic military research, checkpoints, registration of personnel and equipment.

As a result, this brigade will be able to adapt quickly and effectively to the new and changing environment that Mali’s police are so often confronted with.

To go where few people can go, to dare to open any door, and above all to blaze new trails.
