The Force Conjointe du G5 Sahel received communication equipment in the presence of EUTM Mali members on 31st mars 2020. The European Union supported the purchase of several fixed stations, satellite phones and solar recharge kits.

EUTM Mali training activities have been TEMPORARILY suspended due to COVID-19 and the measures taken; but EUTM Mali keeps its capabilities, safety, maintains security levels, and continues to do his work, preparing to reassume, as soon as possible, his normal posture regarding its training activities.

EUTM Mali maintains the ability to continue providing advice, mentoring and support to the Malian and G5 Sahel authorities.
