On February 13, 2020 a Medal Parade took place in the EUTM Mali Mission Force Headquarters in Bamako. The ceremony was presided over by the Mission Force Commander (MF Cdr), Brigadier General João Boga Ribeiro, who was accompanied by all the EUTM staff in Bamako. Everyone wanted to pay tribute to the fifteen women and men of EUTM who deserved this medal. During the ceremony the MF Cdr recognised the “outstanding flexibility, enthusiasm, perseverance and creativity, demonstrated, day in, day out, to overcome all the challenges that we face”.
