Tactical air control party refreshment course

From the 7th until the 30th of August, a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Refreshment Course took place in the Koulikoro Training Center. The purpose of this course was to requalify military personnel of the Guideur Aérienne Tactique Avancé (GATA) of the Malian Armed Forces (MaAF), in their skills and know-how regarding Close Air Support Technics, Tactics and Procedures. The course consisted of ten trainees, supported by three EUTM Trainers and two MaAF Trainers. One highlight of the course saw the MaAF trainers receiving their full trainer certificates. In addition, the success of the course was enhanced by the contribution of the Malian Armée de l’Air, with ten flight hours of the TETRA airplane.
